April saw me visit Brocket Hall in Welwyn Garden City for the wedding of Mr and Mrs Sheeran

When it comes to a rich and varied history, Brocket Hall has one of the most intriguing of any of the great houses of Britain. It was built by renowned architect James Paine in 1760. The second Lord Melbourne was Queen Victorias first Prime Minister who lived there until his death in 1848. The estate then passed on to his sister who married Lord Palmerston who went onto become Prime Minister. A house which has helped shape the political landscape and one which now hosts extravagant celebrations

Mr and Mrs Sheeran hired me to sing a night of swing and jazz standards for their wonderful guests. It was a night of great sophistication but incredible fun, a superb party to celebrate their marriage in splendid surroundings.
